TIMOCOM presents technical innovations at transport logistic 2025.

Faster and more secure order processing is in demand – from preparing a freight offer to placing the order and finding the right transport price. TIMOCOM is presenting a new way of assigning freight at this year’s transport logistic trade fair. Freight offers can be created in seconds with the help of artificial intelligence, and interested parties can make direct contact using the integrated messenger. Once an agreement has been reached, a Deal can be finalised securely and digitally. Companies can also use the new TIMOCOM Freight Price Insights API to determine a fair freight offer price.

Automatic offer creation with artificial intelligence

TIMOCOM AI is the name of the AI-supported freight input tool for faster and more efficient publication of freight offers in the TIMOCOM Marketplace freight exchange. It can be used to create both individual offers and several freight entries at the same time. This saves employees in the scheduling department valuable time and enables them to find the right service provider more quickly. To do this, the transport order is marked with all the details, copied and automatically transferred to the freight exchange by clicking the ‘Generate’ button. After briefly checking the details, the offer can be published. ‘Artificial intelligence is fundamentally changing the rules of the game in transport logistics,’ says David Moog, Strategic Product Manager at TIMOCOM. ‘With TIMOCOM AI, we are enabling our customers to utilise this technological progress in practice.’

Simple communication and negotiation via messenger

Things have to move quickly, especially on the spot market. With TIMOCOM Messenger, service providers and transport customers can communicate with each other directly in the Marketplace in relation to offers, negotiate the conditions and accept or assign the transport. The secure alternative to e-mail communication with an integrated translation function connects Marketplace users virtually and offers more security than e-mail communication. ‘With the TIMOCOM Messenger, users can clarify the details of the transport order despite language barriers and negotiate the final price at short notice,’ reports Gunnar Gburek, Head of Business Affairs and Company Spokesman for TIMOCOM. ‘If a service provider is awarded the contract, the Deal can be concluded immediately, even for spot market bids.’

Deal! Concluding deals on the spot market

Deals can now be agreed, recorded and documented via the spot market. Once a suitable transport partner has been found, the digital order confirmation is sent directly to the TIMOCOM freight exchange. The advantage of this is that it provides a better overview – all assigned and accepted freight offers are displayed clearly and comprehensibly. This reduces the administrative effort and creates more security and trust when working together in a certified network with more than 156,000 active users. There is no need to create an additional transport order in the TIMOCOM Marketplace in order to rate your business partner after the shipment is complete.

Freight offers – price matters too

What is the right price for a particular transport order? Services providers and transport customers both ask themselves this question on a regular basis. The latter usually enter a freight offer price in the TIMOCOM Marketplace for a freight offer to which hauliers can submit their quotes. The pricing depends on the transport requirements, such as the type of vehicle and equipment, as well as the offer situation. Based on this data, the average prices per kilometre for the last seven days on specific routes can be viewed via an API. TIMOCOM has already implemented this API with its partner Translogica. The Austrian company will be demonstrating the features in action at the TIMOCOM booth at transport logistic 2025.

Visitors can test the TIMOCOM Freight Price Insights API and the new way of assigning freight with TIMOCOM AI, TIMOCOM Messenger and Deals live on site from 2 to 5 June 2025 at transport logistic in Munich at booth 302 in hall A5.
