Selecting a transport partner you have never worked with before is just a normal part of using the spot market. Our Verified Company seal of quality helps you decide who you can trust with your business.
What is a Verified Company?
In addition to the approval process, you have the option, starting immediately, to verify all your relevant documents (including EU licences, excerpts from commercial registers, insurance). Once the verification has been completed successfully, the seal of quality will appear in your TIMOCOM company profile, and will be visible to all Marketplace participants.
How to verify your company
To take part in the Business Partner Check, you must be a TIMOCOM customer residing in Germany.
Open document settings: Log in to the TIMOCOM Marketplace as usual and open your document settings.
Agree to share your data: In order to verify your documents, we need you to give us permission to do so. You only need to grant permission once. You can find our privacy policy here.
Verification: Verification of documents you have already uploaded begins automatically and may take a few minutes. Once the verification process is complete, you will be able to see which documents have been verified.
- Verification complete: Missing or invalid documents can be uploaded at any time in order to complete the verification process. Once the verification process has been completed successfully, you will receive the Verified Company seal.

Once you have given us permission to process your data, TIMOCOM can check any already uploaded and visible documents. We use the latest technologies to verify that your documents are valid. Your data stays secure during the entire automated process and will not be sent to third-parties without your permission.

Frequently asked questions
Verifying your documents costs you nothing! Here at TIMOCOM, the security of our Marketplace is our top priority. In addition to our strict approval criteria, we want to provide additional transparency and security during order assignation by means of our Business Partner Check.
All CEOs and authorised representatives of a company can agree to the processing of company data, as can all those with power of attorney or the right to make decisions in the company’s name.
It goes without saying that you can withdraw from the agreement to take part in the Business Partner Check at any time. Please note, however, that by doing so you will lose the right to the Verified Company seal. This is because TIMOCOM GmbH will no longer be allowed to regularly verify your documents.
In order to withdraw permission, go to you document settings and click on “Withdraw permission”.
Usually just a few minutes. However, in rare cases there may be a delay in the process, for example due to technical outages. In most cases, the verification process will be completed within 10-15 minutes.
Once the verification process is complete, you can view the status in your list of documents. There are two reasons why your documents may not yet have been verified:
Invalid: If the documents you have uploaded are marked as ‘invalid’, you should make sure that you have uploaded the latest version of the document in question. Please contact our customer service if you have uploaded the correct document but it is still listed as invalid.
Missing: If a document that has been uploaded cannot be verified, please check whether or not it is visible in your company profile.
Other Marketplace users can view and download your documents once they have been verified successfully.
We check official documents using official databases and services. Company documents are compared against reference documents from the registration process. We do not make any assertions regarding other company attributes.
