Two big companies connected

Erkrath, Germany, 2017-03-24 - The service provider TimoCom has already interfaced more than 200 telematics systems for its customers. Ctrack, another Big Player, has now been included into these telematics providers, which are connected to Europe's largest transport platform via an interface.

Operating in 55 countries across six continents and with more than 1,000,000 systems sold world-wide, Ctrack, part of Inseego Corp. (Nasdaq: INSG), is a leading telematics provider solution. The vision: an innovative global solutions provider, simply connecting people with information. With this vision in mind, it was a logical step for the telematics provider, with headquarters in South Africa, to be a part of the interface of Europe's largest transport platform: "As a provider of SaaS (Software-as-a-service), we too are part of the 'Industry 4.0' and thus also the continuously increasing digitalisation and networking branch. We have the obligation to support our customers with Ctrack in the digital world. Therefore it was clear to us that we should be connected to TimoCom via an interface and this way provide an additional advantage to our customers", explains Maria Johanning, Managing Director of Ctrack Germany.

Networking creates added value

Thanks to the integrated tracking solution, all conventional telematics systems are on Europe's largest transport platform. This allows customers to view different telematics providers without having to switch from one application to another. All relevant information on the vehicles' position are bundled and clearly shown, which proves to be very convenient when working with subcontractors. In addition, being able to monitor at all times the location of the vehicle ensures a high degree of security throughout the complete transport process. With this, not only the networking between the contractor and customer is a real added value, but also between Ctrack and TimoCom.
