Together for more security

TIMOCOM provides state-of-the-art tools and strong security mechanisms – but the key is the collaboration with users. With your responsible actions, you help make the TIMOCOM Road Freight Marketplace as secure as possible for everyone. Find out below how!

1. Secure start when creating an account and logging in

Two-factor authentication
  • Create a strong and unique password: Change it regularly and never share it with third parties to protect your access.

  • Always use the official TIMOCOM site for login: Bookmark https://my.timocom.com/ to avoid phishing attempts.

  • Enable two-factor authentication (2FA): This is an additional security layer that verifies your identity during login.

  • Always log out: Sign out after each session and close your browser. This prevents unauthorized persons from taking over your open session and acting on your behalf.

2. Secure collaboration on the TIMOCOM Road Freight Marketplace

Secure communication

Use the TIMOCOM Messenger for all communication with your partners and potential partners – it is faster, more direct, and more secure, reducing the risk of phishing attacks.

If you still receive requests by email, we recommend using the TIMOCOM Check. This quick and easy-to-install Outlook email add-in verifies whether the sender's email address is registered to a TIMOCOM user. Information on how to install and use the add-in can be found here.

Close transactions securely

After you have negotiated and selected your preferred partner, you can confirm the transaction directly in the TIMOCOM Marketplace – either via a Deal or via a legally binding Transport Order. This way, the confirmation happens without detours via email, and you are better protected against fraud and misunderstandings.
