The Idea

I have an empty vehicle but nothing to load. I have an urgent load but no available vehicle. Every transport planner in a forwarding company knows this problem by heart. The job involves assuring that freight is moved to meet often strict delivery requirements, assuring efficient, reliable sub-contraction and the optimisation of available loading volumes.

Using a freight exchange helps in the planning of the above and subsequently helps reduce costs. The user is presented with a list of available loads and vehicles aiding optimal usage of resources.
