TC eMap®: the map that is way ahead

The calculation tool TC eMap® is completely integrated into the freight- and vehicle exchange TimoCom TRUCK & CARGO®, giving TimoCom customers a great additional benefit. This module enables exchange users to call up and display additional information for each freight offer and self-selected routes regarding the costs and further route details. Moreover, a detailed textual and graphic description of directions is provided, matching the individual input query.

And this is how it works
Via the button “TC eMap®“ in the programme, the user can have the route calculated for each freight offer. The motorway kilometres per country and the total distance of the trip are calculated. If required, it is also possible to add journey legs to optimise the route. To visualise this, the selected route is graphically displayed on a digital map. The displayed map view is variable in size; the integrated zoom function allows an enlargement up to exactly 20 metres. This can be initiated by clicking on the magnifying glass or by selecting the desired map area. Due to the enlargement the diverse points of interest, such as petrol stations, rest stops, restaurants, hotels, parking spaces, railway stations and repair workshops are easy to see, making detailed route planning much easier. In addition, “TC eMap®” can also calculate the travel expenses and other operational expenses (such as toll fees) for the selected trip. In a matter of seconds you have a good basis for price negotiations with potential business partners.

But this is not all
You can determine additonal parameters, such as the the shortest or fastest route. You can give priority to motorways, exclude certain traffic routes, or input an average speed for each road type. The selected route will be described in detail. You can print out the information in different degrees of detail. Moreover, the detailed maps and the textual description of the route are a useful aid for the driver.
